Theology is the disciplined study of God, divine revelation, and everything in the universe as it relates to God. It involves rational thought and critical analysis of a religion's beliefs and doctrines, primarily derived from sacred texts, to gain deeper understanding of the divine and one's place within that framework. The ultimate goal is often to know, love, and obey God, which impacts how believers live their lives daily.
