Why Covenant Bible Institute of Theology?

Covenant Bible Institute of Theology has attracted many of the very best of minds since 1999, when the Institute was started.

As of today the Institutehas grown to around 1000 students. The college is located in Mbale city, Uganda along Kumi road near Nabuyonga bridge. In line with our mission of existing to equip students for lives of transformational service and leadership in urban and rural communities through biblically-based education and relevant skills. CBIT graduates possess essential skills, can reason and analyze, cooperate in teams, and are trustworthy.

The students come from across Uganda and throughout the world, representing diverse perspectives, experiences, backgrounds and cultures. Undergraduate applicants are admitted on an academic basis, and the Institution offers substantial financial aid to help families manage the costs. Once here, Covenant Bible Institute of Theology students shall discover extraordinary freedom of opportunity — to explore, to collaborate and to challenge themselves. Students will take courses, study, live, and work with a group of peers who come from all over the country and multiple countries.
